ATVAM Plans to Break World Record for Longest ATV Parade On June 14,
2008, in Silver Bay, MN. Participate in an attempt to break the world
record for the longest ATV parade.
As part of the celebration for the All-Terrain
Vehicle Association of Minnesota’s (ATVAM) 25th anniversary in 2008,
the association is planning to set a new record.
Currently, the Harlan County Ridge Runners in
Evarts, Kentucky, holds the record. The club set the record of 1,138
ATVs in a parade in the summer of 2006, surpassing the old record of
687 set in Hurley, Wisconsin.
ATVAM President Phil Morud, speaking at the Fall
Convention, said that with ATVAM’s 25th anniversary in 2008, the goal
is to have 2,500 ATVs (for 25 years of ATVAM) in the parade.
Plans for the record-breaking attempt are in the
initial stages. More information will be available soon. More
